24/7 Customer strengthens core team

October 30, 2003-- 24/7 Customer, the
leading provider of outsourced
contact center and BPO services to Global 500 companies, today
announced the appointment of V. Bharathwaj as AVP Sales & Global
Marketing and Satya Gopal Kalluri as AVP Quality. The appointments
will aid 24/7 Customer's plan to grow exponentially in the coming
year and cater to existing and new client needs.
V. Bharathwaj was till recently, the global head
of marketing at iGATE Global Solutions, formerly Mascot Systems.
In his current role, Bharathwaj will be driving the global marketing
effort for 24/7 Customer with a focus on building the company into
a global BPO brand.
Satya Gopal Kalluri joins 24/7 Customer as AVP
Quality, where he will be in charge of the company's quality initiatives.
24/7 Customer was the first BPO in India to get the COPC certification.
Before joining 24/7 Customer, Satya was the Six Sigma Head at Nipuna
where he set up their Quality Management initiatives.
To cater to the growth of business from its existing
customers and new customers, 24/7 Customer plans to add 300 more
seats to its Bangalore operations and recruit aggressively.
24/7 Customer recently opened its contact center
in Hyderabad to cater to the continuing growth of existing customers
and to provide customers with multi-city redundancy.
24/7 Customer announced the opening of its first
European office in June 2003 coinciding with the signing of a large
multiyear outsourcing engagement with a leading European insurance
firm. In July 2003, 24/7 Customer secured US$22mn in financing led
by leading venture investor Sequoia Capital.
